The CLF Research Skyhawk goes back to its unveiling in 1984 when George Fullerton conceived a double-cutaway that pays a subtle homage to classic offset-bodied guitars while still cutting essentially traditional lines. The Research Skyhawk features a lightweight, resonant ash body with a maple fingerboard that is smooth and instantly playable. In addition, a Leo Fender-designed Dual-Fulcrum vibrato — one of Leo’s final passion projects — delivers impeccable tuning stability and stellar vibrato.
