A high quality dynamic that may become the new industry standard if the price goes down in the future. This is everything a great shure microphone should be, it has a wide frequency response, i dare say the clarity is abit finer than the ksm8. Singing through this microphone, you will find that in terms of recording down your vocals and live performance, a mic like this is definitely a keeper! Get one and you will not regret it!
