Delivers Seamless Integration with 2110 IP Broadcast Systems

The Blackmagic Design DeckLink IP is capable of handling eight channels of Ultra HD video, offering seamless capture and playback for 2110 IP broadcast systems. It features two 100G Ethernet QSFP ports, ensuring full redundancy, and with support for popular formats, including Apple ProRes, DNxHD, and 10-bit uncompressed, you’ll experience the utmost video quality. The DeckLink IP’s connections are multi-rate, supporting SD, HD, and Ultra HD standards up to 2160p120. Additionally, its multichannel design enables you to create server racks for generating broadcast graphics, virtual sets, or GPU-based AI image processing, all integrated directly into 2110 IP broadcast infrastructure. The DeckLink IP supports the gamut of video software applications, including DaVinci Resolve for 2110 IP-based broadcast editing workstations. Featuring a high-speed PCIe connection, the DeckLink IP is compatible with the latest Mac Pro, Windows, and Linux computers. Video professionals seeking an efficient solution for capturing and playing back video directly to 2110 IP-based broadcast systems will find the Blackmagic DeckLink IP to be an ideal choice.

Note: The Blackmagic Design DeckLink IP requires PCIe 4.0 x8, and it’s compatible with x8 and x16 PCIe slots.

10G Ethernet for multiple SMPTE 2110 IP channels

The DeckLink IP adheres to the SMPTE ST2110 standard for IP video, ensuring efficient transport, synchronization, and description of video, audio, and ancillary data over managed IP networks. It supports SMPTE-2110-20 uncompressed video, SMPTE-2110-21 traffic shaping and timing, SMPTE-2110-30 audio, and SMPTE-2110-40 ancillary data. Additionally, the DeckLink IP supports multicast, efficiently distributing content from a single source to multiple destinations. To prevent vulnerabilities from rogue software or hackers, the DeckLink IP employs frame buffers, acting as a video-based firewall to isolate the Ethernet port from unauthorized access. Finally, it offers fast connections to host computers, handling multiple HD and Ultra HD video channels with simultaneous capture and playback.

Wide-ranging standards and format support

The Blackmagic Design DeckLink IP offers multi-rate connections for all SD, HD, and Ultra HD formats. It supports a variety of video standards, including 525i59.94 and 625i50 in SD, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p up to 1080p60 in HD, and up to 2160p60 in Ultra HD. Video standards can be set independently for each channel and switched instantly using the Desktop Video Utility or DeckLink SDK. Designed for high-quality video, the DeckLink IP 100G supports popular formats including Apple ProRes, DNxHD, and 10-bit uncompressed video, ensuring precise color representation and superior image quality. This results in sharp green screen keying, seamless VFX compositions, and excellent color correction. The DeckLink IP supports SMPTE-2110 IP data rates within 10G Ethernet per channel, making downstream products smaller, lower power, and more affordable. For Ultra HD at 2160p59.94 or 2160p60, the Blackmagic IP10 codec reduces data rates with minimal latency, ensuring SMPTE-2110 IP video products remain cost-effective.
