Vintage Appearance and Charming Tone
The Martin CEO-10 Acoustic Guitar is truly a sight to behold. This gorgeous 000-14 style acoustic sings out with warm, rich tone thanks to its Guatemalan rosewood back and sides. An FSC-certified European spruce top, complete with Martin X-bracing, adds a bright, articulate sound quality to its rosewood body. A genuine mahogany neck capped with ebony rests easily in the hand and feels silky smooth under the fingertips. Other appointments like compensated bone saddles, bone bridge pins, and European flamed maple binding throughout make this limited edition CEO Martin acoustic a must-have for any serious guitarist. Only 100 of these guitars were made, and City Music was bestowed with six — so grab yours today!
Top-tier tonewoods and Martin mastery
Whether you’re pickin’ current country standards or playing tunes from days gone by, the Martin CEO-10 plays, sounds, and looks incredible. Its Guatemalan rosewood body, FSC-certified European spruce top, mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard make for a tonal cocktail you don’t want to miss. Not to mention, this guitar’s 000 body shape is supremely resonant, projective, and comfortable. The CEO-10 even features a rosewood pickguard with abalone inlays and a label signed by Martin CEO Thomas Ripsam. You can also thank Martin’s X-bracing — a must-have on an acoustic with such vintage flare — for the stiff top, superior tone, and precise notes you’ll find with the CEO-10.
Supremely playable neck
No matter how good a guitar sounds, it doesn’t matter if it has an unwieldy neck. Luckily, Martin understands the importance of a solid, resonant, and playable neck. Martin luthiers start by attaching the CEO-10’s genuine mahogany neck to the body via a dovetail neck joint. This ensures copious resonance and tones both rich and pure. Next, Martin luthiers outfit the CEO-10 with a vintage deluxe neck profile — a profile that’s sublimely comfortable and had its curves handed down from a 1930 Martin OM-45. Ontop of its genuine mahogany neck, the CEO-10 sports an ebony fingerboard with a smooth-playing, 16-inch fingerboard radius. On the whole, this Martin plays and sounds phenomenal.
A page from Martin’s golden era
Martin guitars from the “golden era” (pre-World War II) represent some of the most prized and coveted instruments on the planet. The CEO-10 embodies the spirit of those classic guitars with top-grade tonewoods and period-correct touches. And the sound is rich yet detailed, with incredible focus and balanced tonality.
