Beautiful, resonant tonewoods

While the SC12E’s onboard LR Baggs electronics make it an excellent performer onstage, its tonewoods do an equally impressive job unamplified. This acoustic-electric guitar features a solid spruce top with layered koa back and sides. The spruce supplies a clear and hefty punch that pairs perfectly with the warm and exciting midrange of the koa. The back and sides also feature highly flamed koa veneers, which add an extra dose of visual appeal to your guitar.

The SC12E is available exclusively and since it’s unique to us, we custom-spec’d a few features that no other SC Series guitar has. First, you’ll notice that this guitar comes with Diamond and Square fingerboard inlays instead of the standard dots that adorn the SC-13E. Next, we specified an eye-grabbing pearl rosette. When you plug into your favorite amp, you enjoy amazing tones courtesy of an upgraded LR Baggs Element system. And finally, the SC12E is finished in a Special Burst finish that looks amazing under stage lighting.
