Connect to your smartphone directly and download the free ShurePlus MOTIV video or audio apps available on the App Store and Google Play, or use the MoveMic Receiver (sold separately) to connect to cameras, computers, and third-party mobile apps. Select one of four polar patterns, adjust EQ, limiter, compression, noise reduction, L/R channel swap, or choose from one of five DSP preset modes. Additionally, connect your headphones via the 3.5mm connector and set your desired monitor mix. Finally, turn your MoveMic 88+ into a surefire video kit for your mobile device by grabbing the optional phone clamp, mobile phone clip, and Lightning cable if you’re an iPhone user.

App integration

With ShurePlus MOTIV video and audio apps for both desktop and mobile devices, you can go out and play your way. Within the apps, you can choose from adjustable-width Stereo, Mono Cardioid, Mono Bidirectional, and Raw Mid-side polar patterns, as well as one of five DSP presets: Acoustic Instrument, Loud, Flat, Speech, and Singing. These are all configurable using the MoveMic Receiver (sold separately) as well, and you can store your custom presets.

It sports 1cm cardioid/bidirectional condenser cartridges, a 20Hz–20kHz frequency response, 16- or 24-bit bit depths, and sampling rates of 44.1kHz or 48kHz. You’ll also benefit from an adjustable gain range of up to +36dB, 120dB max SPL, an always-on limiter that deftly prevents clipping and distortion, and an all-metal housing.
