Vox is a major player in the world of modeled sounds, and the VX II is loaded with their VET modeling technology. The VX II uses VET technology to model guitar amplifiers and effects down to a component level, giving you a playing experience like that playing through a great tube amp. Now you’ll feel the tube sag, high-powered punch, chime, and grind of your favorite American and British amplifier designs, all through a compact practice amp.

11 amp, 8 effects models

The VET technology is applied to the VT II’s 11 amp models, including Vox’s own AC30TB, a Brit 800 tone, Deluxe CL, and more. But the tone journey doesn’t stop there. Along with the amp models, you get to fine tune your tone with eight effects models. You’ll have full access to chorus, a flanger, phaser, tremolo, tape-style delay, analog-style delay, and two types of reverb, all there to inspire and fuel your creativity. And you’ll save your favorite sounds in the 22 user presets. If there’s a sound in your head, there’s a good chance you’ll find it in the Vox VX II.

Built to reproduce your sound accurately

The innovation doesn’t end with the VT II’s VET modeling, as the amp’s robust enclosure is engineered to reproduce the nuances of your playing and tone. The VX II’s uniquely designed bass reflex structure and sealed 1-piece speaker enclosure stops sound from escaping out the back of the amp, keeping a low end in tact that you’ll have a hard time believing is coming out of such a small amp.

The VX II gives you a USB out paired with Vox’s JamVOX III modeling software and Tone Room software for deep editing of your sounds. Hook your VX II to your computer or iOS device and you’ll be tweaking your tone far beyond what is available on the top panel of the amp.
